About Our Cleaning Practices
Have you ever wondered about the cleanliness of the balls in ball pools? Some rental companies employ methods like soaking them in soap and water, while others opt for machine washing followed by air drying. A few even resort to washing the balls in small batches using a dishwasher. Let’s not even discuss those who neglect to clean them altogether. (Yup, they’re out there.)
At Kids Party Rentals Co., we use a specialized machine designed specifically for ball cleaning. Each ball is pulled into the machine, thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned, dried, and removed at an impressive rate of 7,000 balls per hour.
To ensure the cleanliness and disinfection of our soft play equipment and bounce houses, we use an electrostatic sprayer- the same technique utilized by hospitals, to clean with CleanSmart. This EPA-approved disinfectant effectively eliminates 99.9% of viruses, germs, and bacteria. While it may sound potent, it’s actually quite gentle- formulated with simple ingredients such as ionized water, salt, and Hypochlorous Acid. This alcohol-free solution contains no BZK, ammonia, dyes, or added fragrance.
We thoroughly clean and disinfect our equipment after completing the setup. We repeat this process upon returning to pick up the rentals. Furthermore, before renting it out again, we complete a comprehensive scrub down. This is the reason that our rentals are daily rentals, not hourly like most kids’ party rental companies. If we were to rent out an item more than once a day, there simply wouldn’t be enough time between events to clean and sanitize thoroughly.
